Our mission is to empower women—from preconception through pregnancy to postpartum and beyond—to feel confident in their beauty routines without compromising their health or the well-being of their families.

Our Story 

After years of struggling with PCOS and the painful hormonal disruptions that accompany it, our founder embraced a cleaner lifestyle to restore her health. She adopted a healthier lifestyle that included replacing toxic chemicals with more nutritious options.

Afrigarnics was born during her first pregnancy when she realized the market was flooded with harsh, endocrine-disrupting chemicals that can pose significant health risks. 

She needed clean beauty solutions for every stage of pregnancy— from pre-pregnancy to postpartum—to address stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, dry skin, and other ailments that can come with motherhood and beyond. 

 She also sought gentle care for her newborn’s hyperpigmentation and rashes.

Inspired by her African Grandmother’s healthy lifestyle and simple beauty rituals using African botanicals, she started creating homemade beauty recipes - and the rest is history!
